This 10-Week Journey has the potential to change your life forever ~ if that’s what you choose to do! The three biggest concepts of this journey are that it takes PATIENCE, COMMITMENT, and CONSISTENCY. This journey is NOT meant to be strict, rigid, complicated, or any other “rule-like” idea your Ego might come up with. It is intended to build a foundation for your life, in a way that works for your Highest Good. Everyone is different, so everyone’s process is going to be different.
During this 10-week Journey, we will be building a foundation for living in our Power for the rest of our lives. Our goal is to begin rewiring our brains so that they are working at their optimum capacity for the Highest Good of our lives.
Each week you are given a “Weekly Goal.” Some of these goals will build on each other, meaning that you will continue with that goal for the rest of the process. Some of them will just be goals you do for that week. Some of the goals are Daily Goals, some of them are things that you will do one - three times during the week. Don’t get caught up in what is ahead, just focus on the Goal for each week. The emphasis of this journey is on the Commitment to creating Consistency in your life and learning to be Patient with yourself and with the process.
Along with the “Weekly Goals” we will study Louise Hay’s book, You Can Heal Your Life, and we will also meet six times as a group. During our group meetings we will be utilizing a variety of techniques that will help you determine what you want to create in your life, as well as what limiting beliefs you may be unconsciously harboring and how to change those beliefs at a subconscious and soul level. Techniques will range from guided meditations & age-regressions to exercises from Heal Your Life & exercises I’ve learned at The Wellness Institute in Issaquah, Washington - AND more… The group will form a unique bond within a container of safety and because of this, your potential for personal growth is limitless.
During our lifetime we develop belief systems and our brains develop neural pathways. Many of these belief systems and pathways were developed very early in life and they developed based on what we were taught by our care-givers, teachers, society, etc.. Unfortunately, many of us grew up in dysfunctional families and so our beliefs and neural pathways developed in accordance to our upbringing, which served us at the time. However, they usually don’t end up serving our Highest Good as adults. Even if we didn’t grow up in a “dysfunctional family,” we all grew up in a dysfunctional society.
Times are rapidly changing and many people are evolving out of the outdated paradigm we grew up in. If we want to continue growing, expanding, and evolving in ways that serve our Highest Good for who we are today, we must make a conscious effort to change our outdated beliefs and rewire our neural pathways..
It has been studied and proved that neurons that wire together, fire together. Over the course of this program, not only will we work on changing our “outdated beliefs” at a subconscious and soul level, we will also be taking actions to activate the neurons that we WANT to fire, to wire with other neurons that fire in the same way. This rewiring is a PROCESS.
I like to think of our brain as a garden, and that during this 12-week journey we are planting a new garden in our brain. Some of us will be starting with a garden that has been overgrown with weeds, others may have a few plants &/or flowers and lots of weeds. Some may start out with fewer weeds and more plants &/or flowers than others, and some may be starting out with mostly plants &/or flowers and just wanting a change in their garden.
It doesn’t matter where we start, it only matters that we start.
Weeds will ALWAYS want to grow, so it is up to us to continue to keep them at bay. Unless you are able (and have the desire) to live in a completely uncivilized society without contact to our modern world, there will always be outside forces that are trying to get the weeds to grow - and possibly plant more. However, because this is OUR OWN garden we’re talking about, we have the power within ourselves to keep the weeds out. We also have the power within ourselves to plant the seeds of what we want to grow in our garden. And we have the power to surround ourselves with other like-minded “gardener” who will help us nourish our seeds, allow them to grow, help us keep the weeds out, and even give us new ideas of what we want to grow in our Garden of Personal Power.
This leads me to mention the fact that, although we have the power to plant the seeds we want to grow, we don’t have the power to choose exactly how they will grow. It is a prime spiritual paradox that we are completely powerful and at the same time, we are completely powerless. In a sense, practicing the process of this process is essentially practicing the Serenity Prayer ~ “God/Goddess/Spirit/Universe/Infinite Intelligence/etc...
‘Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference’…”
~ in every aspect of our lives.
This program is simple and easy in theory. However, it does take PATIENCE, COMMITMENT, and CONSISTENCY. When you practice these three things to the absolute best of your ability each and everyday, you will be amazed at the results.
